Quit my fast. Blame Rodney Trotter for his food porn😠

But....on the upside, I've gotten new taste buds💪

I could never EVER stomach greek yoghurt unless it was in Tzatiki. It was just too bitter and ...ugh.

However....i had to pick fermented foods to best come off fasting.

So i walked the supermaket. ..and weirdly my tongue watered when i saw the greek yogurt.

Odd 🤔

But.... i trusted it and bought some.

Ill be buggered !!
Now i love it.

That's freaking BIZARRE🤷‍♀

I have to laugh at the fact that I'm blocked by both people who've replied to this 🤣
*running ears under cold tap* 🤣

I love Greek yoghurt, it's delicious with dolmades and I always throw some into a curry, same as the one I showed you a pic of, the one that gave you hunger pangs 🫢
@RodneyTrotter1 oh i love it for cooking too

But yesterday i saw it, and my taste buds went...."ooh that ! and crunchy lettuce, with tuna, lemon juice and pepper - maybe a smidge of something cheesy like Parmesan?"

When my tastebuds speak....i listen.
It was only my back brain going " uuughhh greek yogurt... yuk"

I even had tuna and yogurt for breakfast🤦‍♀😂.....i feel slightly insane....but great at the same time, if that makes sense?

Had to google dolomade🤔
- gotta try that.

@OogieBoogie I used to spend a lot of time in Cyprus, had a relationship going on with a woman who emigrated to there and we kept it going. She taught me a lot about Greek food, got me interested in cooking so i suppose I have her to thank. When she first gave me Greek yoghurt I almost gagged but loved it after!
Dolmades are delicious and easy to make. Restaurants have started to serve them cold but I prefer them hot, the hot/cold contrast with the yoghurt is to die for 🤩

Your lettuce, tuna, lemon jiuce and cheese feast sounds bloody lovely! 😊

@OogieBoogie I love dolomades.
@KiwiBird they sound bloody lovely.
Im kinda kicking myself here, as i was at the spice shop the other day ...and they had a variety of leaves for cooking just near the door.

Id love to give them a go.
Maybe make them without the rice and just shred chicken or something.
I wondered if its ok to make them with nori?🤔

@OogieBoogie I'm sure that would be good and seaweed is unbelievably healthy.
Perhaps cous cous instead of rice? You could add shredded chicken too. In fact I'm gonna give it a go! 🤩
