I Love Spotify

Spotify, for me, has become more than just a platform for listening to random music. It's become an integral part of my musical experience. They've managed to transform listening into something more than just listening to a song and being done.

Discover Weekly and those `Recommended Songs based on the songs in this playlist` keep me supplied with a near endless stream of new songs which I almost always love. I discover artists whom I would never have discovered otherwise, and Spotify manages to find me the best of their music.

I've tried Apple Music and going cowboy on Youtube but nothing has matched the Spotify experience for me. I love every aspect of it ^.^

I just love that I can listen to the music I like that isn't played on the radio here.

Spotify is great. I hsve literal days worth of music saved on there.

@SW-User Is it free? How would I go about putting all my favorite songs on there?

Cool I hope to have a similar experience...I just downloaded the app recently, still trying to figure out how to navigate my way through it.

@schizosaint Try not to rush it. One of the greatest things for me was discovering all of the ways that Spotify recommends new music. It was like finding a new wellspring of music each time.

@SW-User Good question. This should give you an idea.

It's mostly pop, electronica and, well, I'm not very good with generes. And I suspect at this point I've dipped into a little of everything.

@SW-User That sounds like a pretty neat format. I love when musicians do stuff like that. Here's the thing, though: I love their song Technicolor Beat-- it's one of those songs I can get high to; resonates deep within-- but I'm not a big fan of the rest. A few others like Lost It, White Blood and Without You are nice and I listen to them on occasion but it's mostly Technicolor Beat that I listen to obsessively.
