I Love to Write

I am planning a new story called Kanberang Hospital, which I will start writing April 1st. It was originally called Laurier Hospital and takes place in Canada. Now, it'll take place in Singapore. I have some work to do, because I don't know much about Singapore, and a lot of it is Canada-specific, especially characters' names.

No. I did watch a couple videos of people from there to learn about the dialect.

I've found the more you can "soak up" in details (culture, locations, etc) the easier the ideas tend to flow.

@madbroom: i've been trying to write a book that's set in a number of places. the bits that i'm most comfortable writing about are those that are set in London. it's where i live. it's where i grew up.

but good luck to you. i hope that it comes together. mine's been a real struggle lol
