I Love to Write
My Safe Spot
When things just don't seem right, when I am in a world of fright, the water slowly fills the vessel, its steam fogging the mirrors. The near boiling liquid churning from the flow from the outlet. Almost reaching its full point, unyeilding moments of pain, coldness and rapid pulsations emitting from my chest, when life seems to becoming to an end. Stepping into the hot incompressible fluid that conforms to the shape of its container and around my feet. Gradually lowering down the heat wraps itself around my body as I near the bottom of the this large container. Laying there, letting its intensity of feeling, especially of anger or excitement slowly lifting away the pain and sorrows that have succumbed me.
The water slowly goes over my face rushing in the orifices and only then I open my eyes and suddenly realize that there is more to do, and to go on with this life. As this was merely a test of my strength and my will to survive and to not give in to defeat so I can live another day.. My safe spot has gave me hope and release of what terrifies me.. My safe spot.
