Monologue:
Don't you see the confusion you caused?
It is not that I don't believe you,
It is just that I don't know what to believe anymore.
And this drives me insane.
I was a rocky island in the tempest,
And now I am a wreck adrift.
I shouldn't have to doubt my own perception,
I shouldn't need to analyse what happens.
Your words and actions disconnected,
Became a mind boggling obsession.
How was that supposed to bring any good?
All I crave is to abandon myself in your arms.
My only obsessions should be to express my love for you.
My only irritation should be an elusive synonym for beauty.
My only doubt should be where to kiss you first.
My only change of plan should be to give you more of my time.
My only fear should be that you don't come back.
If I say 'please', it should be followed by 'more!'
If I am sleepless it should be to indulge in your embrace.
