It’s a late night as I pull up to the house
I see her on the couch asleep
I turn off the tv and turn on the music
Playing our favorite song as her eyes open
Reaching out I take her hand
Pull her into me tightly
Then dance her around the living room
Swaying to the rhythm of the song
Until the final note is played
