You told me long ago you were bad
Knowing this I still fell for you
Took the time to understand you
Learn about what makes you

That day changed my life
I finally understand what true love is
That no matter what happens you sacrifice
Do what ever it takes hold you steady
Sure there will be stumbles along the way
Even so I will never lose sight of you
