I Love to Write
My mind does not sleep;
By your hand, sanity slowly flakes.
My eyes cannot weep
Because my heart is the one that aches.
And that heart you can keep
When you need something to break,
But my forgiveness you shall reap
For love and understanding's sake.
We will meet again one day
In a sweet, idyllic place;
Far beyond where sunbeams lay,
Transcending time and space.
Firmly grasping, fate will lead the way;
We will exist in Beauty's grace.
Save your "c'est la vie's" and "juste milieu's"
And let our destinies embrace.
Let us be drawn together once again.
Let me fill in your cavities.
Let us be what we've already been;
Bound by strange and thrilling gravities.
Destroy all your evil lingering within,
Refrain from speaking potential tragedies.
Lay just low enough over my skin
For your body to ravage me,
From our entwining lips -
Both blurred and blending -
So that now, the swaying of your hips
May be a moment never ending.
We will watch as reality slips
And eternity begins extending
To a dimension where anguish is eclipsed,
Created by spacetime bending.
We are all made of stardust;
That is our cosmic connection,
But how am I to connect through rust
And with no sense of direction?
Will Capricorn again find Taurus
Amongst life's entropic complexions?
Can there be another to trust
When the trusted reveal deceptions?
