I Love to Write
“An Exploration of Moon and Love”
I do, so desire to be the rain.
Each droplet a sonnet to your skin.
A gentle nurture to wash away your pain.
If only to touch you, again and again.
Alone, I am still.
Alone, reality strikes
Alone, agape love; so real.
I do. So desire to be the wind
Oh, how I would whisper in your ear.
Every poem of my beating heart, I send
Blowing softly, to whisk away each tear.
Alone, I am still.
Alone, reality strikes.
Alone, agape love; so real.
I do so desire to be a purple orchid.
My roots, caressed by only your hands.
A simple exhale lifts my petals, fully supported.
A slight tremble from your loyalty, of lifespans.
Alone, I am still.
Alone, reality strikes.
Alone, agape love; so real.
I do, so desire to be a snowflake.
Dancing before landing on the tip of your tongue.
Melting into your essence, a passionate ache.
Settling, I expand with every breath of your lung.
Alone, I am still.
Alone, reality strikes.
Alone, agape love is real!
But, I am just a panther, my shelter is the night.
A feline protector, who is resilient by design.
An unwavering North Star, my source of light.
Lover of Universal proportions, to span lifetimes.
I love you to the moon and back: You are my Skyline!
