I Love to Write

"...the silence"

I miss words & how they used to dance rhythmically from my fingertips.

Filling blank screens and pages with passion and pain. Now they are but a ghost, haunting the hallways of my mind.

Buried in the depths of my grief and shackled within my sorrow. I hunt.

Like a starving mouse scowering every nook for an inkling of cheese. A tremulterous maze dizzying my feet until I fall.

Hoping here... Maybe right here on this cold hard ground, parted lips upon my sunken tear soaked face...

Words...will finally find their way back to me once again.
