I Love to Write

I wrote this for a friend who faded into other things. Something possessed me to post it for all those who come and go and leave their foot prints on my heart in large and small ways. May the other things you fade into be good things that make you happy. Peace and strength.

If I were the wind,
If I were the sun
If I were the soil
If I was a clear refreshing spring.......
I would be these things for you.

elementals and directions
North, south, east , and west.
Earth, air, fire, and water.
be where you must be
bring what you must bring.
The circle grows in the warmth of flame.

pulled by the moon,
the tides and waves give and take.
The death of winter
the birth of spring
the world turns
and the universe sees itself
with your eyes.

Truth is the inevitable outcome of all things.
Peace and strength.
Perfect love and perfect trust.
So mote it be.
