I Love to Write

Love isn’t what you say, it is what you do. Even so, you still say because you love
Love isn’t being turned on by what you see, but rather by what you see in another's eyes.
Love becomes true when it stops being about “you feeling loved” and becomes about
You loving the feeling that someone else feels loved.
Love doesn’t create insecurity it cures it.

Love cannot be possessed, it cannot be restrained, it can’t even protect.
True love recognizes that unless your most significant other is
complete without you,
they will never be complete with you.

Love hates good byes,
but is willing to say them whenever needed.
True love is rare, worth exploring, and priceless

Love asks questions and seeks details,
not because everything in someone's day is exciting and
Interesting, but because it is a part of who they are.
Love remembers details not with effort, but without,
because Love listens intently.

True love brings out the best in both,
recognizes the best in each,
and strengthens the best in someone even if it is at your expense.
Love isn’t telling the world about who you “have”,
it’s about encouraging another to have the world.
Love isn’t about you becoming someone else's dream,
but it is about you supporting their dreams.
And Love isn’t about reading someone's mind,
it’s about seeking their mind.

@Kaitlyn wow. Thank you. It’s old though. I wrote it in 2007 as a personal philosophy and use it often to correct my selfish inclinations. I’m glad you liked it.
