I Love to Write

I looked into the dark abyss and saw you standing there alone. You reached for me, just as I reached for you, our fingers ever searching but always just out of reach. I looked into you desperate eyes and saw tears well up as your despair grew. Fearing the end you resign yourself to your. Your hands dropping to your side. Frantically I search for something, anything to give as a life line but find nothing. Coming to the realization that life isn't worth living without you, I fling myself into the dark abyss. I fall for what seems like days before coming to rest at your feet. When I wake my eyesight is blurred and out of focus, all I can see is your blurred silhouette. As my sight comes more into focus I see your teared soaked face staring down at me. Helping me to my feet you steady me as my legs try and find their footing. Once I am standing on my own I turn to you and embrace you as you say to me. "Why? Why would you through your life away to be with me in this land with out won't. Where my life is forfeit and where the light of day is so distant not even it can reach here?" To you I say "I scoff at the light of day as no light is greater and brighter than the light that stands before me. For you I'd go to the ends of the earth for, as there is nothing I hold more dear to my heart than you. This prison you built is not meant for one but for two. For that I will have nothing less than to die beside you as you are not meant to die hopeless and alone." Tears well up and flow from your eyes "Cry not my dear for this is not the end. For every end there is a beginning and this is our beginning." The darkness of the abyss closes around us and envelopes us, as we embrace the spark of love renews and the darkness falls away and the light of a new era begins.
