I Want to Write a Book

Has anybody got any tips for writing or mapping out a book? I have what I consider to be really good stories in my head but have a chaotic approach to things.

you really need to flesh out the middle, the ending should pack a quick punch, that'd be the drop, and the middle would be the point where it leads up to the drop, and in the beginning it should just be a neat melody
