Some do use others as toys - some of us actually have a heart and don't. I sometimes think it would have been easier in life if I had been born a user instead of having too tender of a heart.

@LadyBronte I am fighting to believe that once upon a time we were all babies, innocent, naive. We are grown-ups now, but we don't have to sacrifice pure love, all be it with experience and wisdom, to be grown up!!

@Ladyred I truly hope you can hang on to that. I no longer believe there are more than a handful in this world that understand pure love for another and I am destined never to meet any of them.

@LadyBronte Never doubt true will always find true..

When people can't even identify themselves apart from their own mind and body, how will they be able to see others as human? They see others as an object with body and some non-sense going in their minds. When they like that non-sense they start to love that person, otherwise..

Some people just seem too self-centred to give any thought to anybody else actually being a person too.

I wonder this too, sometimes. Especially people who are “different” from themselves.
