Man oh man RHCP... I resonate with this one... I remember the first time I cried alone for no particular reason. I was home from school sick (rare for me) and I watched TV (equally rare) and saw Timmy fall down the well and Lassie ran off. I cried... I wasn't sure why... I thought maybe it was because I thought Lassie was running off to find a smarter boy who didn't fall down wells? Or maybe because I saw a fierce loyalty I had never had myself...
cry often... it probably even looks good on you.
I have been told that I am like this Moth:

Perhaps I *do* steal other's emotions (tears) because i don't have all of my own to work with.

This is a pretty crazy story! I read the article, it is fascinating....I think what struck thought in me was that it was speculated that perhaps the moths get their nutrition from the tear drops...it's almost symbolic. That crying is good for us; it nurtures us.
That's a bittersweet memory you have of crying for no particular reason....I know I've done the same, I just can't think of the first time I did that.
I think something that really made me cry not long ago that I couldn't relate to directly, but just moved me extremely was this video of a woman hearing for the first time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9H_StoVsPU Something about seeing other people have life changing moments is moving. Then of course, I read a series of hopeless romantic type love stories on an EP's page that made me teary too....I'm such a sap now lol.
I like to think that maybe it's not that I don't have all of my own emotions to work with, but that it's easier to identify what those emotions are in others' accounts of their own emotions, or that I'm yearning for emotions that I know the familiarity of their feeling, but haven't felt them in a while and miss those emotions....
