Iv'e been a david bowie fan since i was 8 i'm now 52 he is and always will be my hero he was my only friend through teenage nights
I was the only bowie fan in school all the rest were into punk rock new wave etc but i wasnt going to change my music taste just to be friends with them
2 years after i left in school in 1983 the serious moonlight tour was announced i just had to get a ticket and i did when it arrived i was over the moon with excitement
Went to the concert in milton keynes then David Bowie appeared on stage in a blue suit he looked so smart and started singing Look Back in anger
And 120,000 fellow Bowie fans was singing along with me as well it was brilliant and since that night i never felt alone again
