"Henry V" (1989)

In terms of film adaptations of plays by the Bard, I credit Kenneth Branagh with helping to make Shakespeare accessible to many who would not otherwise be interested or aware. These scenes of his St. Crispin Day’s speech still give me chills.

When I saw it in the theater, people were actually cheering !
Imagine that.

I love Much Ado About Nothing. It is my favorite with him in it as well. It was what turned me on to Shakespeare!
@JaggedLittlePill I love that one, too. 😊
