And maybe that’s the cruelest part.

It wasn’t easy to admit
I wasn’t safe alone.
Wasn’t easy to tell you
I couldn’t do tis on my own.

But I did.
I let you in.
You saw the worst of me
and helped me survve it.
The crisis passed.
But I was still breaking.

Still fighting my demons.
Still fucking achi.
I still needed you.

I know you can’t always be there.
I know the world doesn’t pause for my pain.
But understanding doesn’t stop the braking.
It doesn’t make me whole again.
Because I did the hardest thing.
I let someone see me bleed.
I swalowed every ounce of pride
and admitted I had a need.

I told you I wasn’t okay.
I told you I wasn’t safe alone.
I let myself believe, just for a moment,
I didn’t have to face the darkess on my own.
