The fireworks end
The pretty lights in the sky
don’t take away
the darkness that flashes in my eyes.
I remmber.
The sand beneath my hands.
My prayers going unanswere.
The blade against my face.
His body against min unwilling.
The loud bang
sends me back
to that moment
where my screams faile me,
where I became invisible,
where noone was coming.
And the crackle
as the firework dies
is louder than my plea for help.
Prettier than the girl
who had to walked off that beach.
A broken shell
that still remembers
every time
the sky explodes.
the fireworks end
but my body remembers.
Im fine
don’t take away
the darkness that flashes in my eyes.
I remmber.
The sand beneath my hands.
My prayers going unanswere.
The blade against my face.
His body against min unwilling.
The loud bang
sends me back
to that moment
where my screams faile me,
where I became invisible,
where noone was coming.
And the crackle
as the firework dies
is louder than my plea for help.
Prettier than the girl
who had to walked off that beach.
A broken shell
that still remembers
every time
the sky explodes.
the fireworks end
but my body remembers.
Im fine
