Red vs clear tears

My skin cries red
Easier than my eyes eyes cry

And somehow
the red feels like relief
because at least something
is finally letting the pain out.

I wish my tears
knew how to speak
before my skin had to.

There is relief and healing with the red tears
There is pain and overwhelming with the clear tears
