The waves against the wall
They crash and they foam and the
Call of the birds in air above the
Coast calling on the fierce breezes
The strength of the sun through the
Rain and the sigh of those fighting the
Hurling wind and howling breeze
At night the stars shine tho they have been all along
I heard it said that they sing in their place…
Most days i randomly sing myself but not today
Today there was silence and absence of song
And i longed to sing and there was none..
A quiet voice in a louder world where men plot against each other
Sigh
So many beautiful people have died for nothing 🥹
So many more better than i are gone away to the other side of this life
And i remain watching them fall helpless to their demise
I watch the enemies laugh and spew hate
And i distance myself from them
I feel like a tiny ant screaming at a mountain 🥲
But there is no time
Our men and women fight valiantly against the many wars against them
In reality and with words
But the world is like zombies with madness
And where and when the end lies who knows
There will be peace on the mountain and grass on the hills one day
And animals who don't attack each other
One day i will hug a loin and he will let me
I feel like i should sing to him in the mean time
He is not far from me in his lil cage
Sigh
And the panther paces aggressively not many yards further from him.. a pent up cat with fencing fior his ceiling
The lion is more chill even in the wild.. having his naps at leisure
I must go for now.. back to the night duties
But i wait for a better day which may or may not be in our lifetime
And i cry for those we loved and lost tho we never knew them (tho some did)
G’night for now
(As i was already supposed to be sleeping)
I miss the sea but i can see and hear it in my mind and my minds eye..

Our man didn't die for nothing.. they died in our defense.. but they wouldn't have had to if the world wasn't so hateful.. and for that i am sad .. tho i believe in the raising of the dead.. so for that we wait (among other things) for the true king of the universe aka the messiah.. salvation
