Not loud. Not demanding.
Just… there.
Ours found its way into the quiet spaces.
In words that felt close, in laughter that came easily, in the gentle unfolding of being seen without needing to explain.
I still feel it sometimes, in the quiet moment between moments, in the pause before I sleep, in the subtle pull to share something I know he would understand.
And when it comes, I meet it with care.
Not reaching. Not resisting.
