In a dark moonless night

A day when the mist of the sky blots out the stars

A road through the wilderness

And unlevel expanse of moors

The howling of the beast in the darkness

A lone stranger in the path

Are you friend or foe

I ask to myself

And fail to see your face in the absence of daylight

I heard the stars above sing.. or so i was told

And smiled as we went our ways wordlessly

Wrapped in our own thoughts

The world is full of both warmth and coldness

By turn and by tilt

Seasons of life go by

Again and again

And the path goes on
