Us and them

There is no us and them
Just we - us all.
… and no more now or then.
Naive I’m sure.
But, our differences,
are what make us stronger.
Mixing influences,
coming together.
Stirring our dreams.
Sharing our culture.
Nothing it seems,
Not gender or colour
Age or religions
Left or right
and the rainbow smidgens
Can stop the light
That delivers great outcome,
Ringing out when it works.
Beating our progress drum
with carnival twerks.
A so better future,
blending the best,
allowing innovation nurtured,
To fly the nest.
Unleashing the power
of difference again.
Change to flower.
There’s no us and them.
