Meaningless Crap

Hope is a crow in a cage.
Subject to its masters rage.
He keeps it locked to keep it safe.
Waiting for some special day,
But if Hope could free itself,
it would fly far far away.

My only truth is pain and sacrifice. I doubt I will live longer than my parents did. Human hearts aren’t meant for this.
