I Write
Some days I write to share the beauty of the world. A sunset or sunrise my capture my imagination and inspire me to share what I see with words. The antics of a pet or the quiet movement of wildlife may attract my attention and challenge me to share what I see with a few sentences.
When thoughts of love and desire fill my thoughts, I write to share the emotions I feel. Whether ones of passion or despair, I try to connect with others through phrases and descriptive words.
I do love those days, when images of your beauty or thoughts of sensual beauty and acts of love fill my mind. For to write of them allows me to relive them over and over again. I see you in all your glory because of words that reveal you to me.
Yet the reason I write is only partially to share. Though connecting with another person is a worthy goal to have. I write to share who and what I am, to let others know that a man who observes and notices, walked this path of life for a bit. I may seem to be a bit selfish in this, but then one writes back and says that I touched them and I know that this is truly the reason I write. To share myself and help just one makes writing part of who I am.
