I keep thinking about


The novel I may never write.

The scraps of stories

stuck inside books.


The scenes spinning

in my head.

The flashes of images

that may never see

the light of day.


The wasted time spent

Analyzing those images

Criticizing my thoughts

Even before they could

be shared.
