I Write

I am still finding my voice.

After many years, many forms and many inspirations.

I am still finding my voice.

Sometimes it comes quick.

Like a torrent that I try to tap

with a few feeble words.

Sometimes it is simply gone.

I feel dried up, used and empty.

It has vanished along with my will

to capture it

to render it

to make it whole.

I spent years trying to perfect and mold

what I wanted to say.

Then I realized

I am still finding my voice.

Your true voice is as is.... in the moment, raw, uncut, unfiltered.
Let it fly.

@HotMessExpress102 So true. Live in the moment and see what happens next.

The best part of writing is that you solidify each particular moment. Doesn't matter if it's perfect or not, you grabbed ahold an didn't let go, regardless of the pain or pleasure @Sorrowfulgaze

That is true it is captured one way or the next. Your raw emotions and thoughts captured for all time for better or worse of course.
