I Write
Always searching for the perfect line.Trying to avoid repetition, attempting to stir another soul. Wanting to spark thought and imagination. Hoping to plant a seed which will cause another mind to pause and think.
As a writer I challenge myself every day to write something which will spur cognition in another's mind and maybe bring to them some human emotion. To cause them joy and or even sorrow. Touching another soul and causing this soul to reflect is something we all seek at some point as we write.
Trying to bring another mind some truth, to enlighten and cause another person to think deeply. Writing and challenging another person to think for themselves. Attempting to write with unique individuality and freedom. Writing is therapeutic, it stirs memories and thoughts which cause both joy and sorrow. Being genuine I think is the most important thing one can do as one writes.
Writing for oneself and just being grateful to maybe have a small effect on another human being. To touch another soul with sincere and genuine heartfelt prose is what I try to do. My writing is far from perfect, quite simple and to the point most of the time. Just happy to be able to put my thoughts and emotions into words.
