I Express Myself Through Writing

Delicate Balance (C) 2019.

There is a duality in everything. The balance of everything. The balance of this universe, this world, this earth. It can be a delicate balance, indeed. This so-called equilibrium? Nothing is perfectly balanced. Nobody is impartial. We all have bias, leanings, between what we favour and what we don’t. The duality between Love/Hate, likes and dislikes and the fine line between opinions and facts.
And how, some people like to cherrypick because it suits their view better, their beliefs? Choosing to ignore, refusing to see, is most probably why certain shite never sees light of day and is kept in the dark, for ages, decades, even centuries, spanning lifetimes. And those that keep fighting the good fight, because they are plagued by the morality of it all; in the hope that one day, the dark will be brought to the light, and all the secrets and the scandals will be exposed, revealed or exhumed!

The truth! It can be buried, but it can never die and it can never lie! Every now and then, there will always be a judgment day, a day of reckoning! Giving humanity a jolt! To awaken the consciousness!

Are the dead truly resting? Do they ever find peace? Or do we only hope they do? And you see those graves? Are they silent? Are they trying to tell us their story? Do we even care? As is sometimes, we have to forget the past in order to move forward. And despite of how horrible something is or was, the grim reality of it. Why is it, that some of us will cling on to hope, that there is light at the end of a long dark tunnel? Maybe, because whilst we are alive, we need the sunny days, the uppers and the highs.

Life is so inextricably linked with death, that humanity itself is always going to be starkly contrasted. And in the end, through space and time, we are united through our emotions, our ability to empathise, whilst THINGS, divide us still....
...Yet we can only hope that we have a positive impact on our future, even if we are getting battered by the elements. Although, only time will tell.
