I Express Myself Through Writing

A veteran awakes from a nightmare and takes a look around . His eyes that seen so much horror can now see more beauty than he can even begin to describe. He hears peaceful and beautiful music softly playing from somewhere up above.

The veteran thinking that he must have switched dreams at some point,walks around and notices how people pass by smiling and happy unlike the hate filled nightmare he had left.

As he walks around he comes upon man wearing a long robe and sandals. The veteran still confused decides to ask of the man what type of sleep filled world he might be in. He asks sir do you know what type of dream might I've slipped into.
The man smiles and says son this is no dream it is because of your sacrifice to fight in nightmare of war.... That now your forever living in eternal peace.

A Soldier's Absolution

I think everyone should visit Arlington Cemetery and The Vietnam Wall. These are two places that make you understand what sacrifice is and how lucky we as Americans are to live in a country where so many men and women gave a damn and stood up to fight for us all.
