I Express Myself Through Writing

I really miss Summer with it's delectable warmth and beauty. The perfect blend of days with delicious heat and cerulean blue skies with the lovely balmy nights. I close my eyes and my window is up. The light breeze moves over my scantily clad body giving me goosebumps. I can smell the scent of the intoxicating roses. The ones that grow outside my bedroom in my pretty botanical flower garden. Their heady marvelous scent, mingles with the Lily of the valley. It's a perfect balance of perfumed delights, reminding me of paradise.

Winter must run its course with nasty road conditions. Very often having frigid and inclement weather. Probably at least another 3 months of this numbing cold with snow and or freezing rain. One can never achieve a happy medium when it comes to our Canadian four seasons. I'm truly hoping it simply goes by quickly.

Then once again I can watch the rejuvenation of Spring and the metamorphosis of Summer as it unfolds with vivid colour and beautiful flamboyance. Feeling the warmth of the sun as it caresses my face as I lift it towards the perfect azure blue sky.

Sure some days will be hot as the devil but it sure beats the numbing cold of Winter and those days of dealing with crazy inconsiderate drivers. I guess it all really does balances itself out in the interim. I'm just happier basking in the sunshine and feeling the beauty of a warm Summer's day. I'm thinking it's so much better than freezing my buns off on a icy cold Winter day.
