I Express Myself Through Writing

"Primal Nature"... Fear the deepest, darkest parts of one’s self; for it is from these depths, where turbulence arises. Our primal, inhuman nature knows not empathy nor anything of the sort. Decisions cannot be made; logic and rationale do not exist where the light cannot reach. There exists only the instinctual need for survival and domination. Destruction and dismay rule here. One must remain ever vigilant of such wretched aspects of human nature, lest they climb up from their depths, reach out and grasp one’s soul. Fight the good fight but know that such a battle cannot be won if the war inside has already been lost. With your last exhale, your body ignites and your soul burns as it's pulled down. At the bottom, beneath the scuffle of darkness, your light no longer shines because you're now only ashes stamped into the dirt; buried by the inhuman fallacies that you let rise and rip you from the light.
