Ok @Harmonium1923 been working on todays, chose this day for a reason.

Even Though the Angels Sing


Angels sing and laugh out loud,
They know the truths we don’t allow.
They see the ache we try to hide,
The tears we swallow deep inside.

Angels sing, and hope they bring,
Soft feathered light on broken wings.
Angels sing, welcoming you home,
Where love is bright and you’re not alone.

I see your face in golden light,
Warm as sun through longest night.
I feel the hush, the quiet sting,
Even though the angels sing.

They hold you close, they let you soar,
Beyond the pain, beyond the door.
Yet here I stand with tear streaked eyes,
Still whispering my goodbyes.

Angels sing .. I know they do.
They’re smiling now because of you.
But heaven’s choir can’t quiet the thing…
I miss you, Mom.

Even though the angels sing.
