Betrayal - October Writing
I feel the fire inside me burn. Autumn ‘s orange. I know summer’s gone. Your move. You lay the black diamond upon my navel, as holding my sides you dive to take my offering and steady and stable you lap the dark divide of my open gate. You’re saying a hymn, no a #Haiku, which is I think a #5line rhyme. I’m Falling off into the deep, I’m at my breaking point. I’ve almost forgotten the #9 words3lines, you used to break my heart. The genesis of these monsters within that grow more and more demanding, clamouring to run free.
Dearest Margaret
I’ve met someone else.
Please forgive me.
Has there ever been such a love divided? I want to choose to say goodnight, return in humility to my lonely moonlit vigil But the monsters show up strong in my heart and mind and I know that this is a rare opportunity to turn your betrayal into a #10 word story. “Darling, I have recorded every minute of this time together,” or more simply a #6 word story, “Darling, you’re completely and utterly screwed.”
Delicious.
