What would you ask or request to prove someone is hypnotized?

I'm writing a short story and a guy is trying out new powers of hypnosis and subliminal suggestion.

What's something he could ask or a suggestion he could make to prove someone is hypnotized?

How about touch the hypnotized person's uvula /w a popsicle stick that's covered in icing? So if they're hypnotized, maybe they won't throw up, and you can tell it made contact bc it'll leave a lump of icing behind. I doubt that's realistic but idk it might pass.

@BlueVeins Points for imagination. But reactive body functions(gag reflex) isn't realated to the conscious mind, right? Like if you get cut, don't bleed. It just happens.
