I Am A Self Published Author

Once upon a time, a self-published author had two books published on Amazon. Now the books are just sitting there, languishing, and not being sold. On the one hand, it's nice to be able to bypass the traditional route of sending your manuscript to a publisher only to have them reject it...or not even bother LOOKING at it, at all! On the other hand, self-publishing is frustrating because it is so HARD to get the WORD out about your books!

The problem is that few good writers are good at self-promotion. In fact, many people would never have resorted to writing at all if they'd had strong social skills in the first place.
