I'm finally writing a novel.

I haven't wrote a book since 16, so this is all new and very exciting.
Tedious, yes especially on the work for the covers, as it's kind of a visual novel.
What's it about?
Uni students taking a break for a year ages 20-22, a friendship groups, daily lives and plans for the year as they take you on their journey.

Right now, i'm keeping it lowkey, as i recieved slightly negative advice from a friend, being that he made a game and only 50 people bought it, he replied with

I'm not the best person to ask because I'm a pessimist about everything. I think you should write it because you enjoy writing it. MAYBE if you post it online you will get some people who read it and like it.

But I spent years making a video game that I thought was pretty good and still only about 50 people bought it. So I think "success" is mostly just luck or having a good marketing agency.

He's much older than me, mid to late 40's, so honestly i think that has something to do with his reply, i told him straight up no me gusta, like he told me "Don't get your hopes up." and i literally replied with "I'm young, i have to get my hopes up about something." And that is TRUE, i have the time and energy to create, try and try again.

I get what he's saying though, enjoy your work and don't expect too much but it comes off kinda harsh.

I just want my work out there and excuse me for wanting some recognition for it, it's an easy read for people who like things slow paced with DRAMATIC AF moments.

On some Moana shit, no one knows just how far i'll go.
