tell us about your challenges

to poke at the question for me a long time ago on specific techniques including

use of allegories that were pre-themed / on a specific topic
personification
anthropomorphization
juxtaposition attached to specific themes
foreshadowing

the one i really sucked at was convering something i wrote from 3rd person to 1st person which was suppose to give introspection on perception of perspective of each on a reader

but iwasn't so competitive as much as a group of writing nerds getting together to run a set of pre-defined exercies ---they were others i just i am not sure i can pull them memory off of the cuff

never did the hyperbole exercise or even would know how to do that.

oh sorry edit--been in a few competitve pun-offs before. It is where take a theme from a narrator in real time who is also the ref for the game. the narrator does his speeh and the contestants can interrupt but only to offer up puns in response to the narraration. last time i played that game i got crushed by an English professor (but it was still fun)

@robertsnj I would say anything realistic fiction. Also anything with the theme of overcoming obstacles or challenges.
