dead motivation

I have this story idea that I have been writing for a year at this point, I have the plot written and started to written some chapters. I wish I was able to stay focused for long periods of time. I mean it's fun to do, not a career path.

So I suppose I'll ask how to keep focusing on writing? :D

Dignaga

There is only one thing you can do. Get on a plane, and fly to Nova Scotia, and then start hiking your way down the Appalachian Trail, with no phone. Talk to people along the way, and learn to live off the cuff, meeting people who live in all walks of life. Once you are in Alabama, fly home.

Then you can begin to write about a woman in Finland, drinking hot cocoa by a fireplace, reflecting on her favorite sandwiches.
