Carry on

No matter what life throws at you, I have learned to carry on
No matter how low the world can knock me down, I have learned to carry on
No matter how much I find an invitation in her words I have learned to carry on

Inside I have always found the strength to take another step
Inside I have reasoned my way through, no matter how hard it might be
Inside no matter what, I have found a way to keep going again and again

Even at times that I have to question how much I have left inside
What is left of the feelings that carried me this far and the strength they gave
How much longer do I have it inside of me to smile and carry on
