Falling

The words inside are used to feel something I cannot explain
That sensation of loss or grief that just eats at the inside of you
A feeling that if it were a physical cause would be plain to see
A sense of falling that seems to go on and on with no end in sight

The message is never delivered perfectly in the words
But with enough to manifest the feelings felt inside
With hope, even enough for others to not feel as alone
A sense of falling with perhaps something to reach out and to hold

But those words are not enough and cause confusion
The message is lost in the perfect eyes of another who thinks better
Words that strike deep and make you question but then understand
You are falling and no matter what, your words mean nothing
