Still Standing

Been knocked down a time or two
Felt worse than I thought that I could ever be
Head hung so damn low that I wanted no one to know
If I had not found rock bottom then my heart could not tell

But even as the sunsets and sinks beyond your view
Eventually, you have to find that strength when the new day shows
Find that inner strength or reach out to those you can rely on
Shake off those thoughts and fears and know that you're not alone

Find that spark inside and rise to meet the world again
Head held high as you look back into the face of adversity
No matter how the world feels to me, I need to understand I am not alone
