Just letting go is never easy for me
Too much heartache and too many walls
Barriers thrown up to stand in the way of everything
Hiding behind the armour that I thought I needed

But then I met you and it was as if those walls did not exist
I could spend every moment with you that you had to give
Sharing so many dreams as we grew together

My heart was awoken from it's cold slumber by you
Never knowing what would come next but wanting to be with you
