Another day I feel the sunshine on my face through the window
Thoughts are lost in the moment as I ponder the things that have gone
Head turned from the light that would once entrance me
But now it is too bright for my tired eyes as I look away

How do you ever truly lose someone when they beat in your heart
Thoughts can come and go, but a true love is forever inside of you
No matter how far it slips away. you will always find a way to call it back again
Just takes a moment or something to help you remember what you had

Only the loss of hope can drive you into the despair that takes that away
You cannot lose what you hold dear in your heart and mind
Lost today but inside perhaps one day to be found again?
Only time will tell how the world will twist and turn
