Blue (Oceans never ending)

Blue

The slightest touch of the colour against my senses
Words played over and over again as I fought back the tears
Overcome by the feelings that I wanted to block out

The colour blue like the shades of the emotional ocean crushing me
Crushed under the unrelenting pain inside as I knew that I had failed again
The waves flowing back into the ocean of the world that surrounds me

The colour blue is the saddest colour I can now see as I want to fall to my knees
The words were lost in my throat but even if I could speak beyond the tears
I know I have nothing left to give to or even say anymore

The colour blue washing over me like the ocean's gentle flow
That moment of silence and something resembling peace
I wish once again for the colour blue to turn to black and be the end of it all
