Once More (Morning)

Once More

Feeling close to the edge before you came
Reaching out and pulling me back from that oblivion
Back and forth as if no time had come or gone
Once more feeling like something is out there beyond despair

Waking to a new day and the sun comes through the crack in the curtains
But today it somehow feels different and I feel as if something is better
Was it the sleep? or the place that helped me feel so rested?
Could it even be a new sense of hope or just a feeling of something else?

Either way, I can but feel grateful for what has been and that time
Try to hold onto that feeling for as long as I can and feel blessed to have it
Enjoy those moments of walking on air as if the world was new
Once more I feel something as fresh as a morning come anew.
