Here I Am (Wondering)

Here I Am

Here I Am, sitting looking into what I see as an empty future
Trying to see beyond the darkness that engulfs everything
And searching without hope for some brightness in that abyss

Here I am, wondering if I am going to have the strength needed
To keep going, to keep moving forward to some unknown destination
Or have the strength to reach beyond one year ago and the magic it created

Here I Am, wondering, Even if I know how things went wrong
And if I could have found another path or was it doomed from the start
Was there an alternative path to chase some unknown destiny and happiness
