We Collide

When we come together it seems like an irresistible force drawing me in
No matter whether it was the first time or the next I am pulled to you
Two forces that should push each other away but just seem to attract
Like two celestial bodies we collide together and the flames burn bright

The power of love creates an irresistible force meeting the immovable object
But still, we both come together and the results are something else indeed
Like the brightness of a star or a moth drawn to the flame, I cannot keep away
Two trains racing to meet each other and we collide together and the sparks fly

Forced apart by whatever we carry inside, an explosion of passion or panic
And we scramble away trying to find solid ground for the next time we are drawn
Because once that attraction begins again, I know I cannot resist those charms
We come together and collide as we have before and I would not change it if I could
